d'anver lovers, discuss the breed and post some pics!

Boy that sounds great! I think I read a post from him a while back about a package of mixed color d'anvers chicks..If he does that again when chicks are available, wow! What colors are you most interested in? P.S. I live in Gibson PA Susquehanna county, just south of you

By the way, Aubrey, I think my Aimee is part Silkie rather than all D'Anver. She tried to go broody on me for the 3rd time this year. Yes, the THIRD time! I told her no way, little missy, and kept dumping her cute little behind on the floor. Molly the Phoenix is broody for the second time this year, has been for about 37 days now, and finally has two eggs I think I'm going to have to let her keep or she may never break up. I think her sitting so long finally was beginning to convince Miss Aimee that it might be a good idea to have babies again.

Oh Backwoods Bantams I e-mailed Aubrey - Boggy Bottom Bantams - today looking for trios of d'anvers... your pictures of your birds just about made me faint!!! I told him I've been tearing my hair out looking for d'anvers, I'm in NE PA and I come onto the forum and see your birds..they are magnificent! I may wait until spring to order a batch of chicks from someone. In the meantime I will enjoy this thread
