do D'Anvers lay dailey? muffy is 4 so we ger 3-4 eggs a week but we got a 5 month old hen just curious they r my first 2 d/anvers

Right after the pullets start laying , they seem to lay every day. Then they will stop for a while and start back up laying every other day.

Oh lordy I so hear that....I awoke to a real feel of 1 yesterday and no idea what it will be when I wake up in a few hours but thermometer will read somewhere around 7.

Those guys are adorable! And they all get along co-raising the babies?

I have some eggs incubating and due on March 11th. Any guesses on what color I will get out of the khaki quail x dun cuckoo mix? I will also be hatching straight khaki quail. Can't wait! These will be the first eggs I have hatched from my BBB d'Anvers.

That's good to know if mine ever become broody. They have not shown any signs of wanting to be . . yet.
