Hi everyone,

Anyone in the Cincinnati, Ohio area want a blue D'anver rooster for free? I'll throw in a silver quail hen too. Both are from this year and the eggs were from Boggy Bottom Bantams. He's so cute - but a bit too loud for my husband.

Those are not D'Anvers so some of those do not apply at all. A high tail like that on the D'Anver roosters is correct. In other breeds, it would be considered a squirrel tail. And they have rose combs so they can't really have a side sprig, per se.

Yes, they can, just wanted to clarify. I've seen folks here asking why their D'Anver rooster has a squirrel tail so that's why the post.
