d'anver lovers,discuss the breed and post some pics!

I can imagine, with bears and stuff like that. Once a d'Anver was eaten by a Kesral, and some other chickens by raccoons, but that was because one wanted to nest outside. The other was because of a fluke in our chicken coop that we fixed
 
congrats, i lost almost my entire flock to them
yeah... they are so insanely strong. I had one enter my pond coop, but I saw it before it ate the baby turkeys that were inside.

Another time one tried to bust into the bantam coop, but I am guessing that when its paw got caught up in the Christmas lights I have there it got upset and left.... Or that was my guess from the wreckage it left.

Both times it didn't come back.

Did you have to put up electric to keep it from coming back?

i have electric fence but i need to run another couple of lines before they wake up in the spring, and i am thinking some trip lines with cans/noisy stuff
and motion lights

it literally ripped the side of my barn off less than 20' from my horse
