I am crazy for these little beauties and thought I would share. They are from BBB and hatched on the 25th of April. Only have three of the four Dun Quail and it figures that they are my favorite! Thanks Aubrey for my cuties

New coop is almost done but they are not ready for the outdoors yet, still living it up in the sun porch and warming up by the "fire" at night, LOL!

Just posting a few pics of a few of three of the Mille Fleur D'Anvers today. I sure hope I have at least two girls in this bunch. The teensiest one is a very definite girl and one other is most likely, but a third one, probably not.

First the tiny little slip of a girl that I rarely get a picture of. She is very shy.

See who the color is different already, male already getting black to the hackle and has hackle feathers already too, larger comb etc, 100% male.
First too, no pointed hackles, not much color, small comb etc 100% females

Any good sites for quail d'anver standards. I just have hatchery chicks but would like to keep the best rooster (s).

I was told this little girl is a self blue d'anver. Her name is Happy Feet. I think she was a suicide bomber in a previous life...
