What size hook do you use for the sweater? Around an H? Is she full grown or a baby still?

Holy Hello Batman....forecast for Monday just got worse....day high -1 real feel -22....night. -9 real feel -32. Good Lord I am worried about my older birds and my little ones now. Geez

So tomorrow I am adding extra shavings and opening bales of hay for snuggling in case we lose power....we do not usually have temps like this so I am not sure how it will go.

while in Anchorage Alaska it's 32 degrees and freezing rain! my birds have been sleeping with the coop door open for the past 2 weeks the coop is comprised of an entire wall. I am worried that they will start losing their feather if they get too warm I don't want them to be cold when our negative temperatures come back.

Oh, and I got my first d'Anver egg a couple of days ago!

Don't know who laid it, so I will have to keep an eye on those guys!

Mine are laying like gangbusters! Even PENNY! Penny, after over a year of not one egg, is laying again! Happy Day!

I think the only one who isn't laying is Lucy.

That is great news! Gives me hope that my porcelain hen that hasn't laid in a year will lay some day!
