Shelley,
I may have some again in a few weeks. I am getting that new trio Tomorrow, and have sveral already but they are being bred to my bb reds right now for columbian /lavender projects.
Stay in touch will try to get you some, they are a touch pricey though, cost me about $80 for my first trio.

Nice little quails!
Any yep they are hard not to love.
Got your PM, forgot to add, you are welcome to stop by on your trip up this way if you'd like.
I am off that week so will be here most of the time, got about 24 pens left to finish, so off, but still working in a way!!

The breeder I got them from sold the pullets for $10 and the cockerels for $5......I think they might have been culls......

I just came across this thread. My Daughter really likes her little D'Anvers, well I have to admit I helped her there I have always loved them. Now she has a few varieties, Quail, self blue, Mottled, and Millie, she has one pair of porcelain, but the pullet stopped laying and she has a silver quail male, lost the hen. Looking for other colors. She has done very well with her quails and self blues at shows... Will have to see what I have for pictures

only took me 2 years to do it

Kinda sad seeing how she's only 1.5 hours a way, and I sort of specialise in d'anvers, lol

Glad to see them Jen, hope they shape up beautifully for you!

Henry, still hate you had to get rid of yours, if you ever want to try some more, just let me know.

I am getting some new ones in Friday, a trio of millies, porcelains and a pair of new whites too. And finally get to meet the man I got a lot of my birds from. He's from Ohio, and is headed to Jacksonvillie FL, this weekend and offered to drop them by on his way! Looking forward to it and meeting him.....

I am a Faverolles man

I loved the Danvers and I love all bearded birds so hopefully one day when I have room for more breeds I can get some from you again. Maybe I can even use them to get new colors in the Faverolles
