When ever my turn comes up. I am hatching every week. The only ones I am really anxious about are the ones that you said would be mid spring (don't forget them) and the silver quail. Just let me know when they are ready.

Aubrey! These 3 were hatched yesterday. I currently have Lavender Cuckoo & Silver Quail Roos running with Blue Quail, Silver Quail, Porcelain and Black Mottled Hens. Can you tell me what these will turn out to be?

The chicks there are a new down color to me. But all 3 look the same, the one on the right is just a lavender version of the other two.
They have sort of a mille fleur look in a way to them, but honestly I'm not sure what the heck they are..haha

I'm betting they are some form of the columbian pattern, but not 100%
For that one to be lavender based, you lav cuckoo had to breed the porcelain

Will be interested to see what they feather up as.

Well JJ he may be mean but he is purty....I think he needs some of LH's special spoiling. You and Cyn obviously have issues with these little men whereas I, being a mere 5' 2.5" tall myself, understand them and can communicate to them.

It is all in the approach JJ I mean my Little Love flogs Cyn on a daily basis but was a doll for me.



I mean look at the little lovey stars in his eyes....she really needs to just give him to me and stop being mean to him all the time (I have heard her threaten him yes I have, and just because he attacked a water pitcher no less).
