d'anver lovers, discuss the breed and post some pics!

I would say the Blue red is a black ( you said it was marked br could it have been bk. I think blue red chick would be striped like a bb red only show blue. But I have never seen one. Aubrey will have to make that call. The porcelain is right. Never seen a golden neck but they are millie based and it looks like that.

Finally, pictures of my broody Silver Phoenix hen, Molly, with her D'Anver chick. It's just past two weeks old now and is actually Carly's baby.

Here is little wrong-way Lucy, the ditzy chick, who is now 4 weeks old. Penny is still mothering her and the two lav Coch'Anver pullet chicks, though she often walks off away from them now.

yes quail colored d'anver

Hi, sorry to bother you but you seem to be a complete expert on this breed. I was wondering if you could give me your expert opinion on my chicks breed. I posted a pic on the what breed am I board and got 4 answers, all Belgian d'Anvers. But YOU are an expert. Please confirm or not! I would sooooo much appreciate it!! Thank you :)

Cole,
yes the first two are mille fleur some how, should be impossible but there they are. This is my first time with these, not sure what genetics the guy made them from, be it dominate white based or splash blue based either way they shouldnt have been mille colored. I've only got to hatch 3 here so far with all the request for them, but all 3 of them were correct color

the blue red is a project pen. There are bb red, blue red, brown red in there all being bred to bb reds and blue bb reds, that one is going to be in the brown red family looks like. I do get a few blacks from them, but very few. Most are one or the other in the red family. Is there any reddish tinting to it anywhere, mainly the head and neck areas

others are porcelains
