Dare I hope... IT IS PEANUT! ( Link to Newspaper Article added)

Peanut is home. Seems no worse for wear and healthy even. She was hanging with all the Canadian Geese. A few peas and my voice calling "deedle deedle deedle" and she came to us right away. We had to herd her into some tall grass and viola! We caught her. I think the poor girl knew we were there to take her home. She was very quiet and relaxed on the ride home and only went crazy once she was here and heard her flock!

I am so relieved I am crying. Thanks everyone. This is so amazing even I can't believe it.

And to whomever asked about the hawk. The hubby did see her get taken. The hawk made the first swoop and missed. Before he could do much it made the 2nd swoop and carried her off.

12 and 1/2 miles and 3 weeks later.... SHE'S HOME!!!!!!! Unbelievable!

How awsome. Im so glad you found her and she is ok. God works in mysterious ways. Maybe she needs a more extended name like Peanut the Miracle. Ok I know DUMB. But I really am glad she is back home where she belongs. I so happy for the both of you.
