First, these are supposed to be dark brahmas (not entirely convinced.. maybe just poor coloring), 9 weeks old yesterday. Second, they are supposed to be pullets. I have 4. I think 3 are Roos. See what you think. None have crowed yet, all have shanks similar in size (including my buff and lgt brahmas that are the same age and I am certain are pullets).

First the one I am almost certain is a Roo because he feathered really late (still not feathered on back) and pinked up at week 6:

The second I thought was a pullet until last week when the comb started to fill out and turn pink:

The third one I still don't know about, but I am leaning toward Roo:

Henry or Henrietta? (pardon the TSC bag...):

This one I am certain is a girl, please tell me I have at least one pullet...

Lucky is your only pullet. Dark Brahmas can easily be feather sexed. All pullets have the silver penciled color.

Looks like I will be looking for a home for at least 2 of these guys. They are very sweet so far, so I don't think I want to eat them

If I knew they were male, I wouldn't have gotten attached. I hope at least one of them turns out to be a nice roo, if such a thing really exists.
