Dark Cornish Hen

I received an older (3 or 4 years old) dark cornish hen, I was wondering how many years do they normally lay for? If she is dried up will she still go broody over other hen eggs? She is my fav so I need a reason to keep her

my EE, Emma, laid for 5-6 years, but many stop before then, no reason to think she woulden't keep on going, albeit slower, for a few more years. sorry, I don't know about the broody question.. anyone else??
