Dark flecks in egg whites and on inside of shell

have you had similar problems as well?? its the strangest thing bc the eggs don't smell bad at all but i just cant nail down what causes this and if it goes away??

Not me personally, but a friend of a friends chicken eggs were like this discovered after hardboiling and so I searched for a cause. Found several other instances of it, but never a cause.

Some of our chickens have been laying eggs that have dark/blackish flecks in the whites of the egg. Seems to be different than a meat spot. There are also black spots on the inside of the egg shell. Any help much appreciated!!

Any answer to this?
My boyfriend and I get fresh eggs from our 1 of our co- workers. No more than a week or 2 old. Hard boiled a bunch maybe for a little too long and found maybe half of them had these same specks on both the inside of the shell and on the white part of the egg. Some more then others. Are they safe to eat? Should I be warning my co-worker of possible illness? Thank you for any info.

I threw mine away that were like that . It was a short stint that some of them had this type of egg. Maybe a mild sickness? They're 100% now.
