Ash crept forward softly, inspecting two small, breathing balls of fluff. He drew in his breath realizing that they were two wolf pups, not more than two days old, lying on the forest floor, abandoned, hungry, and shaking.

(**Smoke appears out of mid air, 'I want one, I want one!'**)
