Solved Dark Mode: Can We Have It?

I was just thinking the other day about why doesn't BYC have a dark mode. I always have dark mode on every site I actively use. I hope BYC does it!

If @Nifty-Chicken does make a dark mode, I hope there'll be an announcement or something to let us know when it's available.

Excellent at night when you're watching TV in your dark living room, and browsing your chicken site...as your husband is talking and randomly says.."you're not even listening."

Sometimes the white is a little too much on the eyes. I have dark mode on three forums, facebook, and Mozilla has dark mode also. Anyone that has never used this mode I can't bet you'll love it. Some people I know is just the opposite.

I hate dark mode, personally, because light text on a dark screen has hurt my eyes all the way back to those amber CRTs on some of the terminals in college. But I voted yes because I like options.

I would love dark mode. I have light sensitivity issues and I'm sure others do too. But if it's not possible, I can continue to use "night light" mode on my phone and turn the brightness down. Dark mode would just be a bonus.

Nope i turn that off on every site. Makes things harder to read and is annoying if i need something on dark mode because its late out then i just need to go to bed not change the color to dark to stay up later
