Dark pink eggs?

I haven't seen the picture you're talking about, but I know there are a few threads here on BYC about peoples chickens starting to lay pink eggs, not dark ones, but pink the whole shell through when they had previously laid a different color. From what I've looked up the pink comes from the same coloring as the brown, the brown is actually a red that glows under a black light. The pink bloom on an egg is from the same brown pigment getting into the bloom which when thicker can look like a pink coating on the outside of the egg.

;)

Are these the ones?

That looks shopped to me. Somebody played with the saturation on those photos

Ditto Dat^^^ photoshop helped.

Just to be fair and open-minded, most phone/digital cameras these days automatically up the saturation. Same with a lot of photo-organizing software. (I shoot RAW files with a DSLR to avoid this and my software still wants to muck with things. :rant). While I agree that the saturation looks increased, could be it wasn't done intentionally ... though that is also certainly possible.

As a seller sometimes feel free to ask this person questions as long as they're relevant, questions are welcome.
If the seller thinks otherwise then they are better off avoided anyway.;)
I guess I should write the seller and ask about them— I feel like I’d be wasting their time because I am not really in the position to buy

I hope you will post pictures when she starts to lay. I have a cuckoo marans/ langshan mix growing out. I'm looking forward to seeing her eggs. If they're dark pink or even purple I'll send you all some. Lol.

My BCM cross pullet laid her first eggs this week. As promised, here is a picture.

They did not turn out to be pink, but they are a lovely red-brown. I don't have a egg color scale card yet, but to my untrained eye, I'm seeing a 3. I am very happy with them.
