Dark stuff floating near air cell??

best thing is don't worry- remember a watched pot doesn't boil- and they may sense you anxiety.

Momma ducks make a sound like "weeee?' when they talk to their babies. it almost sounds like a whinny." hohweeeee?" then go up at the end. I even make this sound with chicken eggs but chicken mommas to their babies go "Cull-uck" Cull-uck

Although I am worried about the one egg, watching the others rock and roll trying to break free is such a joy to watch. I have been cheering them on. I can tell they are trying to pip. I can hear their bills tapping the shell. I'll try to distract myself away from the bator. Lol

well rest assured the eggs peeping and rocking about will encourage the others to do the same. also once the chick is in the air cell they can peep and peck. so that egg may be behind. not a big deal.

mystery bantams to the front- 3, top 3 one more bantam, and 2 full sized. one may be- a blue maran mix, or a blue splash maran mix. the last egg is full sized that is all I know, may also be a blue., the mystery eggs were to keep the blue maran egg company. I have hatched these mystery bantams before very friendly, like to peck.

I'm almost positive I lost the egg with the dark stuff. My humidity got way to high so I opened the bator and figured I'd candle it to see. No movement and now it looks like maybe blood in one area. On a higher note one of my eggs has pipped and I brought the humidity back down to 70
