Is it the less feathers on the feet or what tells you it's a cockerel?

He has male specific feathering.

All the other birds in the photo are female.

I can quite see how he slipped through.
Can we see any of his siblings? Hopefully he's the only cockerel.

Only one like him. The rest are ones we know. Things happen. Actually really sweet bird.

That's the current plan. He's honestly a very gentle relaxed bird. Like I said, he's not showing any rooster behavior.

EE stands for Easter Egger. Easter Eggers are mixed breeds that usually have the blue egg gene.
I see no reason to assume he is an Easter Egger.
He has muffs, but he also has a single comb, white skin and shanks, feathered feet...ect.
Either way, he's a mix.
