Darker Quail

Does anybody know why this quail is darker
Or is it just a different breed

It is a different breed. The lighter ones are called browns or normal and the darker one is a Tibetan

If you breed a tibetan with an english white or a & m quail, you'll get a pretty tuxedo quail. Well, most likely anyway.
