1.) He's so stubborn, won't go to see his doctor.

2.) He had been diagnosed with Cirrosis of the Liver years ago, stopped taking medications years ago, because he didn't like the weird side affects. Dr. had told DF the disease is so far advanced for anything to work. He never wanted operation for new liver when operation was available, he would die during operation now. Bile and blood has shown up for a few years thru coughing and doodoo. He has been starting to see a yellow tinge to the inside of his eyelids for the past few months.

3.) He goes thru these weird temperature changes because his immunity level is so low.
we can feel comfortable or hot/he'll be freezing. He has to get into a hot/warm bath up to 2-3 times a week at night, so he can get warm enough to sleep, and he has 2 heavy covers for added warmth, his feet cannot seem to warm up.

4.) He has had trouble sleeping for a while, he asked me to ask here for any natural remedy to help him sleep better. He got angry at me when I mentioned one reason why he's having trouble falling asleep........he hasn't taken any medication for his Thyroid like I said in #2.

5.) So, I have told my Darling Fiance' that Chammoile tea may help, Sleepy-Time tea may help, he just

at me........ I do not know of anything else.

He's such a stubborn man !

I'm terribly sorry that your SO is so ill and refuses to go to the doctor, thats just awful.

Jaundice is what causes the yellowness to occur, among other things. If he has thyroid issues and is not on meds for it, that in itself can cause severe issues in a body. You cannot live without a thyroid gland, its your body's temperature regulator among its many other things it does.

The best thing your SO can do at this point in time is listen to his doctor or find another one if he's not comfortable with the one he has. Transplant or no - there IS something that can be done to help him, but in order to do that, he must want to help himself first.

Maybe you could tell him you really would like to spend the rest of your life with him....and in order to do that.. you need him to see the doctor and listen, so that he can have a life to share with you.

My prayers are with you both.

If he refuses to be seen by the MD, tell him to try the Melatonin tablets. They are in the vitamin section and they are like $3 for a bottle. Use as directed on the bottle.

just had a cousin pass away from this over the weekend. Sorry for your situation.

As far as the sleeping goes I have a couple of suggestions. One, try soothing music. Two, Make the room as dark as possible. Three, a warm shower just before bed.

The best way to get to sleep naturally is to follow a bedtime routine. We have a set "procedure" for nighttime at my house. At 8:30 the boys get into the shower, 9:00 in the bed. the youngest gets a "sippy cup" of warm strawberry milk that helps. the oldest is asleep in about 5 minutes (no lie!) because he is use to the routine. Unfortunately for us this means they also wake up every morning at 6:30 am ...even on weekdays and holidays.

hope this helps. Believe it or not, at 9:00 I clean the kitchen 9:30 take a shower and hit the sack at 10:00. I am usually asleep when my wife comes to bed 10-15minutes later. unless

He can get the generic thyroid pills for $10 a month. If he doesn't take the meds he is just going to get worse and worse. No way around that one.

Melatonin, valvarin root, chamomile, catnip and all help ease sleep. But for some they just need to take the Ambien. I take it and still can't sleep.
