Darn possum

Just watched a possum waltz right into the run like it was a super highway. The chickens are secure in the coop. And he came out as easily as he went in when he heard me come out of the house. I took a shot but missed and couldn't get another off safely without shooting into my neighbors property.

Thought that I was going through a lot of feed lately.

I just killed my 7th one in 3 weeks this morning. Your experence is exactly why I kill those things at night when my dog finds um. Sometimes I dont' believe they think straight. I had one come right at me and through my legs. I was trying to get my dogs attention and looked away to find him when I felt it brush my ankle. I was more supprised than he was.
