Daughter's school project

She should hav mine by now, it was only coming from Va and I sent it early last week. Mine had wild ponies on the postcard. I mentioned chickens but not how many.

Yep - mine too as I'm in VA also and I sent mine out a while ago. Mine wasnt a "post card", it was more like a small letter with pictures of gingerbread houses that he stayed in.

Wonder if they got that one yet?

When DD came home tonight (It was late for them because I worked late) I asked her about the post cards and her face lit up like Christmas! She said, "I got lots!! Two were even from outer space!!"

Outer Space?? Was that one of you guys??

This is fascinating, and quite exciting. Let us know when our UK cards get there! Mine is from Aberystwyth with a pic of a mad spaniel on teh front. I posted last Saturday - not sure how long from Wales to you.

I wish I had a better idea. The teacher said she doesn't make a huge issue of to whom the cards are addressed so to not create competition..... So, the kids themselves are told they got cards addressed to them, but they don't get to keep them until after the whole project is over.....


And she is only six. It takes quite a bit of prodding to get the information from her. I haven't resorted to waterboarding - yet!

She said she got 4 more Thursday but had no idea whether they were addressed to her or not. She was too distracted by her grandmother and her new shoes to tell me more.
