I spent yesterday baking - bread, cakes to freeze (its too hot to bake in the summer so I decided to freeze some ahead while I had extra eggs) flapper pie for dessert. My DH loves baking of all kinds so he was smiling all day. At bed he said, I sure am lucky, you feed me so well. I know he appreciates my cooking so I do alot of it.
Today, I spent some time with one of my egg customers. She brought her preschool daughter so we spent time looking at the chickens. For another customer, I gave the gift of a compliment, she looked so tired last week and forgot to pick up her eggs so I delivered them to her. Today, she looked good and I told her so, she laughed and said she had a good night's sleep last night and went away smiling.
I appreciate everyone's comments and I think this thread is one of the best because we get to see the best side of alot of good people struggling every day to keep getting better and better. And YOU KNOW WHAT!!! YOU ARE!! Better every day!
