Day 11 and have 15 out of 16 viable and moving!

Well now I'm excited! 11 days ago I set several cochin/americana eggs, 16 to be exact. Candled them tonight and to my delight 15 of them are active and thriving! I'm so anxious since my last hatch only two made it to hatch, and only one made it from the first day. My poor little chick was so lonesome, I went out and bought 2 black marans and 2 blue marans to keep him company in the big brooder! LOL.

I think I remember reading about your lonely chick the other day. I know it was a lonely chick story just not sure which user it was from. anyway it's nice to see you have a success to follow it up. I've been reading about hatching enough to know to have my fingers crossed for you during the next 10 days or so.
