I was candling my eggs and one slipped as I went to set it down on the table and cracked (this particular egg already had a tiny chip in it).

What can I do?

It is day 11 and there is a viable, moving chick inside. I do not own an incubator and my husband already said I could not go buy one.

Sorry if this seems stupid but I have dermabond (skin glue/liquid stitches) from the hospital I work at. Is it possible to put that on the crack to hold it together?

I'm am not sure what dermabond is.
I have used NuSkin before.
I have also dripped candle wax on the crack.
I think @Cyprus used a bandaid.

I should also mention @cyprus egg actually hatched. Neither of mine did.

Hi! :frow
I strongly advise against using any sort of liquid bandage/stitches whatsoever. The strong odor and chemicals in the substances concern me.
Yes, I did use a bandage. I used the sticky parts of a waterproof bandage.
I have done so on two eggs now.

None of my bandaged eggs have hatched yet. One appears to be infertile. The other, which cracked with a viable embryo inside, is rocking and rolling along quite nicely. The embryo is perfectly fine amd is developing according to plan. The egg is due to hatch in 10 days.

Also @KikisGirls That second tag was not me.
