Some of the eggs are blue splash dutch (roo) and black dutch (hen), and the others are the same roo, with an araucana mix hen. They will probably be blue or black, all the others are! In my siggy is a link to my 'me, my chickens, my family' thread, that has a pic of 'big' poppa, he's the daddy so far. Some of the araucana's eggs might be fertilized by red pyle OEGB bantam, cuz they have been trying to figure it out as well.
The little araucana mix is still laying, as well as the standard OEG hen I have, but I think my black dutch has stopped, or she's hid her nest REAL good!
CK Chickadilly--my son's B-day is the 27th also...He'll be 4
I have some baby silkies, and some BTW jap babies, so maybe next spring I will finally have purebreeds, although blue splash roo and black dutch hen is still pure bred, just different colors right?
And a friend told me they'd give me some mille fluers eggs next spring! Idk what I'll do with the eggs I get from mine then!
