I'm on day 14 of incubating my first batch of eggs. Tonight, after turning my eggs, I noticed that ONE of them was rocking vigorously. Is this normal? Is it good? Is it an indication of ANYTHING? To be honest, I think most of them rock already. I will turn them in such a way that a certain number is facing up (1,2 or 3) and when it's time to turn them again, some are in completely different numbers. I have NO PROOF of this however. It could just be that I bump them when I'm opening the lid.

DH thinks that I should STOP turning them... I think otherwise... What do I do?

You probably knocked the bator or that one somehow was partially incubated when you put them in there. Have you candled? If so you can tell about how far along they are. Day 18 they will pretty much fill the shell below the air cell. I would still continue to turn

I candled and the air cell looked just like everyone else's. Could it be that I have a very active little chick in there? I wonder...
