Day 15/They are Hatching/Curly Toe

im not gunna try the boot thing thats impossible tried that on the chick that died, im gunna try leaving it on 1/4 wire on the newly hatched chick and do the massaging on another chick i have. i hope it works.

I have just gone through my first hatch in a brinsea eco20. I had the vent open halfway, but didnt have a humidity tester in there. I got 17 of out 50, next 8had curly toe badly. Temp was stable.

Apart from 9 infertile, the others all had formed in shell but not hatched. Some pipped but couldnt get out.

Help,I think the humidity was too low. Bit silly to put them in without humidity tester. Just got a bit eggcited.


This time will get the humidity right.


Does anyone use a Eco20 manual? Where do you set the vent on a full house?
