Hi!
First time incubating and I was wondering about air cell size. I have three bantam eggs and three large fowl eggs in a Brinsea Mini Advance incubator. Temp 99.5, humidity kept at the manufacturer's suggestion by filling one side of the water chamber until lockdown and then I fill both sides (which is tomorrow).
I candled a couple of eggs this morning. The air cells in the large fowl eggs seem appropriate, but the bantam air cells are much larger. The chicks are all still moving. I've read that bantam eggs have larger air cells, is that true? Am I going to have any problems with the bantam eggs that you can foresee since the air cell is about 30 percent of the egg?
Thanks in advance.
Chris
