Yesterday when I was candling my eggs before I put them in the hatcher I could hear cheeping out of one. I have never heard one this early. Has anyone heard their chicks this early, and did it turn out ok??

Mine were day 18 yesterday and I heard the cheeping too. I have 2 pipping right not. I think they will be okay, temp and humidity could have been a little off(higher norm). What kind are you hatching?

I am hatching showgirls. When I came home from work Sunday morning one had pipped and it hatched by the time I left for work Sunday night. Hopefully, when I come home in the morning I will have some more pips. I have never had any hatch on day 19. They often start hatching on day 20 and hatch over the next day or 2. I must have spots in my incubator that are warmer than others, even though I have a fan in there.

It was day 18 yesterday got four in the bator. I candled for the last time and they were moving about, but when i checked up on them later one of the eggs (just one) was rocking like non-stop. looked like a see-saw, it's weird because the others didn't!

Now it's stopped don't know if thats good or bad

I got 2x Salmon Faverolle (one of them was moving) 1x vorwerk and 1x Old English Pheasant Fowl (a big brown chicken apparently really rare

Well, as far as I know still just have one. I had 2 pips yesterday morning that were slightly bigger when I went to work. Hopefully some babies in am.

Today is day 21 (oops, now 22). So far I have 7 babies, another with a pip, and 5 with nothing. Hopefully more in the am.
