What kind of thermometer would be the most accurate? and should I keep turning the egg since it's a little behind? I know you're not supposed to open the incubator during lockdown so I'm not sure

I'm not for sure that it's behind I'm just saying that it could be.What kind of thermometer would be the most accurate? and should I keep turning the egg since it's a little behind? I know you're not supposed to open the incubator during lockdown so I'm not sure
Thank you! I will try calibrating it and I think next time I will just buy one of those thermometers meant for hatching eggs.I'm not for sure that it's behind I'm just saying that it could be.
I would not turn it anymore.
I like to keep at least for thermometers in my incubator at the same time.
I don't trust any thermometer unless it's been calibrated.

I just looked it up, looks exactly like mine. Hopefully mine is just as accurate, since I only have two eggs in I think I'd be lucky to get one chickI use a Little Giant incubator thermometer, it's really accurate.
I was just in the middle of stressing about the eggs when one of them pipped!! I'm so excited, I really hope the other one will start soon. Went to check the temp and heard little peeps and then saw the pip!
