Day 18 is tomorrow!!

That is sooooooooo cool!!!!! I can't wait 'til you are proudly showing pics of the new little ones!!!!!

Though I am sure it is easier said than done..... and when you have really expensive eggs or a breed you have been waiting forever to hatch... I spose it is hard to imagine losing even one. Tough call.

You know, I can't really say what I would do in every situation (I like to THINK I would normally let nature take its course) but since I KNEW this was my fault (too low humidity) I felt I could save them. I know that most of the time it isn't good to help them. Next hatch I will closely monitor my humidity and (hopefully) take the "hands off"
approach I PLANNED on taking this time.

I "helped" 2, and now I'm questioning it. Both ARE alive and well, however, they're "different" than the rest. One is "rough" looking, coarse feathers sort of, and red (only red chick), he has no feathers or fluff at ALL on his stomach and underside of neck.

The other looks normal, but is half the size of his bantam brothers, and is the only one of the 22 to come down with "pasty butt".

No progress on Whitey's pip... but now the EE egg is rolling as well, if I cluck.

LOL....and here I was thinking I might need an extra pot of coffee!!!!!

I've got 7 eggs left in the bator, 3 have pips( 2 of them literally just pipped the shell), and 2 more with movement in them ( I candled them to make sure). I won't give up on the last 2 eggs, they could just be real slow pokes!

I was going to go to bed but now I don't know if I should stay up for awhile yet!!

That would be funny. I tried to candle my blue/green egss and I can't see a thing. Day 15 for me.
