The last one didn't make it, for some reason he didn't develop as fast as the others. I tried to 'help' him, but he'd probably have hatched by himself in a couple of days and made it

Still, 16 healthy chicks out of 18 shipped eggs from the other side of the country is incredible, and a great start on the project at this end. They are beautiful, some are like little tennis balls they're so fluffy and round.

You did get a great result . Congrats on your wonderful hatching job!

How many lavenders did you end up with out of the 16? I hope you enjoy working with the project.

All of my eggs hatched. Here's my totals.
Lester - 10 chicks from 10 eggs - 4 lav/6 black
Lil Bear - 19 chicks from 19 eggs - 6 lav/13 black
