I have never, ever had this happen before and now I just feel sick. My eggs are in lockdown and when I went to bed around 11pm the humidity was at 65%, but when I woke at 3:30am the humidity had dropped to 45%. It is day 19 1/2 and now I am worried the all 8 of my babies will not make it to pip. Yesterday morning I had one rocking and chirping, now nothing. I am hoping someone here has experienced the same issue with a good outcome..help.

First, there is nothing you can do about it that will change the outcome. It is what it is. I assume you raised the humidity back up? If not, do so immediately.

There is no need to panic. If no eggs had pipped, that temporary drop should not bother them at all. If an egg had pipped it could possibly dry out more than you want, but most of the time it will not dry out enough to cause harm even if it had pipped.

The best thing you can do is to carry on as you normally would. It gives your eggs the greatest chance of hatching. Whether they hatch or not I doubt this is the cause.

Good luck!

I absolutely did get the humidity right back to 65%. I have been so stressed that I wasn't even able to go back to sleep. I keep hoping all is good, but I must admit that I have doubts. Day 20 started around 8:30am so fingers crossed.
