Day 19 chicken egg incubation question! Help!!!

So this is my first time incubating! I have 14 eggs that were looking great on day 17!! Veins, movement!!! Yesterday on day 18 the eggs were rocking and moving…. Now day 19 there’s nothing. No movement, no pipping.

Temp is 99.5
Humidity is 70%

Pipping happens on day 20 usually.


Since this is your first time hatching, here's an important question: Are you using separate calibrated thermometers, & hygrometers to monitor conditions inside the incubator?

It's a common mistake to go by what the incubator itself says. Most often times they're not accurate.

Get some for the next hatch you do. It's to late to get some right now, but not too late to prepare for the next round.

I recommend: Thermometer World Thermometer/Hygrometer probes. Easy to calibrate.

And: Incubator Warehouse Egg O Meters, they come pre calibrated, put them on each side/corner to make sure there's no cold spots.

Eggs get quiet before hatching, but sit on your hands and don't help until day 22. A pip will drive you crazy, but a pipped egg, and a rocking egg doesn't mean it is hatching it can take 12-24hr for a pipped egg to hatch, but it needs that time to finish absorbing egg contents.

Okay!!! I have one egg that’s rocking but the other 13 haven’t done a thing since yesterday. I really hope i didn’t waste all of this!! I’ve done everything i knew to do and was told to do. It’s giving me anxiety lol
