Day 19 Halfway Over Already! Stage One, the first 49 Eggs * PIPS!!!!*

well its been 4 minutes. i think its time for an update.

You always crack me up, beefster, LOL. Cant see anymore pips, but dang, it's hard to see all those eggs in the Hova. This one happens to be in the Cooler-Bator, so there's a better window.

Good luck Cyn, this is exciting. Are you staying up all night?

Well, either me or my DH will, I guess. He's been up for two nights in a row, worrying about the Hova temps not regulating properly. Now they seem to be fine, maybe because it's dang HOT in this room now with three bators going!

I cannot imagine what it must be like to have that many chicks hatching at about the same time. Only word that comes to mind.....................fun!!!

Cyn! That is too cool for you!

I had to laugh, because I just found my first pip too, and we are on day 20 as well LOL.

RIR are some of the coolest birds in my experience. Very sweet.

well I hope you get lots of beautiful pullet chicks and then maybe some motivation to build two more breeding pens!
I predict that this motivation will come in the form of a very sweet little rooster that either you or your husband decides is their favorite and that you must keep him and let him have his own flock of ladies.

Do I have the course of events that is about to occure down correctly?

Good Luck with your giant hatch,
Henry
