Day 19 - Humidity reader broken

Hi,
Hoping someone can help me. I'm on Day 19 of hatching some chicks and the humidity reader on the incubator is not working. I've added a damp cloth and an analog hygrometer (though cheap and unsure of the accuracy) in to the incubator, it is reading about 40% but I have condensation on a couple of the walls. Any ideas of how I can make sure I have enough humidity without a gauge?

You can do the salt test to check the accuracy of your hygrometer.

That's awesome! Thank you. Any ideas to know if I have a reasonable amount of humidity until I can test this (or get a new one)?

Even if you get a new hygrometer, you won't know how accurate it is without doing the salt test.
