Day 19. I hear chirping. Is this normal?

Today is day 19. Went on lockdown yesterday. I hear chirping. Is this normal? My first time....

I've only hatched a few lots - some have all arrived on day 20, and other batches I don't see a chick till late day 21 or 22.

Ohhhhh, my gosh.... now I AM egg-cited! I hear more than just one peeper .... maybe 2. Oh no, what if it is too early. No pip yet though.

It can't be too early. Chicks hatch when they are ready, no matter what the calender says.

when i hatched my last eggs with the help of a good mum i could hear cheeping 2 days before first pip

Oh my gosh.... I've got a pip.... YES, I"VE GOT A PIP ! ! !

Now I'm worried.... I guess that is normal, too, yeah?

Oh crap, i have to go to work (evening shift). Well, maybe that is good.

Yes, normal, too.

It can take 24 hours from pip to zip, so don't get anxious. Sounds like everything is on schedule.

OK, I am home from work now .....

OMG.... I have a chickeeeey ! The one that pipped is out! And, I have 5 more pips.

I am so excited, and nervous, and worried, and ..... and everything else! Yeeeee Hawww, here we go .....
