Day 2 hatched Ameraucans in the brooder

Just posting my experience so far with the new metal brooder on the deck out back (screened raised deck as well).

Hatched yesterday, 9/9 that were viable. Took everyone’s advice and used a heat plate this round instead of the old fashioned like I used to. First night went great. Temps were mid 50s unexpectedly but the birds were perfectly fine in the morning.
