I've recently realised that the humidity reader on my incubator is broken so I could have had the humidity too high all along. The humidity in our city is currently 65% so this could be a factor too.
If you were in this situation would you create an air hole in the out shell (within the air cell)? If yes, when would you do it? What signs would you look for?
I had great success with my first batch, so unsure how to progress in this situation.

I think you should leave it alone...hope someone who knows more will stop in

I think it only being day 20 give it a few more days. Listen for chirping (internal pip) and watch for the egg to start wiggling

I've got 3 external pips. One happen yesterday afternoon (at the narrow end) but has gone no further. 2nd one halfway up the shell, 3rd within the aircell.

Thank you all.
I ended up with 13 hatching out of 16 eggs! 2 had no growth at 12 days, 1 never hatched then I lost the last one to hatch within 24hrs of pipping. I did intervene on each of them except the last one (made sure the external pip hole was open at least 3mm without membrane covering it).
I think I have 9 girls & 3 boys! Check out these cheeks!
