Day 20 and no pipping

Today is day 20 of incubating eggs, it’s almost midnight and no pipping yet. yesterday i saw one moving but that’s about it. should i be worried?

It should be fine, a lot of eggs only start pipping on day 21!

I’ve had some that pip to zip in a very short time frame, and others that seem to take ages. If they’re peeping and can breathe, they’ll be ok. The only time you may need to assist is if the chick starts zipping and then stops for a long period of time and is making distress calls. I’ve only ever had one duckling that needed some help that way. Everyone else has managed to zip in their own time.
Waiting is definitely the hardest part of hatching. Gah.

i’m using the magic fly still air incubator, i lowered the temp to 98 and the humidity is at 72. and the eggs are chicken eggs

It needs to be 99.5. They won't pip until 21 because that's the hatch day.

That means they have internally pipped!

one just pipped, is 77 humidity too high?

Pump the temp up to 99 Sometimes it will encourage them to hatch
