Day 20 and nothing has happened!!

Take a deep breath and recount the days and step away for exactally 24 hours. Then check and again and hope for the best. The second time I hatched eggs in a cardboard box I threw the towel in on them and stopped looking and got one chick on day 24!

I'm on day 21 and nothing either, though I had wriggling chicks when I took a quick candling peek last night, so I'm not giving up yet!

have you put any of the eggs to your ear to hear if they are tapping it?

Try candling and seeing if any of them have broken through the air cell.

Have you had any temp spikes? Hows your Humidity?

What is the quality of the eggs? Are they pullet eggs? Were they shipped?

Some were shipped and 4 of them are my eggs. Should I go ahead and candle them? I had some temp spikes but not bad enough to hurt them. My humidity stayed between 30% and 50% for the first 18 days and then went up to 65% to 75%.

OK, so what if none are through the air cell? I candled mine last night on day 21 start, when I had to open the bator for a min to drop the humidity some, and none were in the air cell yet, but I could see movement in all the eggs I spot checked.

It's almost the end of day 21 for me, and no pips yet...
