Day 20 egg and no pip yet..?

Thanks I really wanna candle! Should I put a warm wet sponge in there? It's 56% humidity.

Don't candle, be patient. They need to lay still and absorb their yolk and blood so they can hatch! Adding a sponge would be good.

With my hatch, so far I have 8 hatched and a few more on the way. The yolkies are in a corner absorbing, gosh I hope they make it...

Can I use wet paper towels instead? I just found out that our sponges are already made with soap in them.

Yeah you can use towels. I'm using some in my incubator right now!

Exciting hey, we had 6 of our remaining 7 pip today, and one hatched. I even managed to catch it on video while watching it with my son.


It's the best feeling, hard to be patient and not get worked up. I had to go make something else to take my mind of nature doing it's thing.
