day 20 - no signs...

Pics
Chirping and very alert when not resting. she is not using one leg she did it use to push out of the shell yet...

I thought that leg looked kinda funky. Any other pips in the other eggs?
You may want to get it out sooner than later to get it up and moving around.
Here's a great article on leg issues. https://www.backyardchickens.com/articles/leg-foot-and-toe-issues-in-poultry-of-all-ages.68093/

Hopefully it's nothing and just needs time to get up and going (not uncommon!) but nothing wrong with being prepared and knowing what to look for.

it is in the brooder box.
Do you think it will be okay to wait overnight to see if the chick starts walking by then?
Nothing from the others so they may be lost.

EE rooster and Production Red

Don't know about that cross, but those are probably decent sized chicks, and my bigger chicks do sometimes take a little longer to get up and about, than my bantams. Fat butts and all seem heavier to lift lol!

Moving around better this morning but one foot turns inward...

Not sure what to do but wait and see after a few more hours
