Day 20.

Give it 24 hours or so, to see if they straighten up. If not, you can do this and they will be fine in a day or two.

Okay so, i just candled my 4th egg being its Tuesday night and I got nervous that it wasn't going to hatch, well when i candled it, i seen that its air sac was drawn down A LOT and seen movement so i immediately put it back, i took it out carefully and candled it while it was on its side like it was in the incubator, do you think it will be okay?

That shouldnt be that big of a deal i mean hatchinh chicks kick the eggs around a lot.

Very true, how long does it take after the air sac is drawn down? I never candled the others after lockdown so idk how long it took from when the air sac was so drawn down to hatch.

Do you think it was they the membrane? Internal pip? Could you see the beak in the air cell?

I seen a tiny mark in the air cell where maybe its starting to internally pip? Once i seen the air cell like that and seen it moving i freaked out and put it back because i don't want to cause it from not hatching. How much longer should i wait? Monday was 21 days and i figured, "well the others pipped and hatched on day 21 so let me see whats going on."

Hopefully you will see a pip by tomorrow morning. Not knowing how long it has been that way, it’s impossible to guess, but movement is good! Just hang in there!! :fl

Draw down happens just before internal pipping. I would give it 48 hours at least.

It may be malpositioned though with it taking longer than the others. And if thats the case it may not hatch.

I put the 4th egg in 24 hours after the rest, it externally pipped sometime this morning, it hasn't made any progress though, I'll give it til tomorrow.

The 4th egg hatched this morning, but the chick ended up dying this evening. :/
I think there was something already wrong with it, it kept falling backwards when it would stand up. I came home this evening and looked in the incubator and it was on its back but alive and it had dried so i put it in the brooder, went and checked on them a few hours later and found it dead. :/
