Day 21 alive chick no air sac?

Oh jeez, don't float test an internally pipped egg! You would drown or or suffocate the poor thing. Its done to test the viability of an egg and you already KNOW its viable since you can hear it cheeping. A sticky chick or chick with difficulty getting out of the egg can be caused by too low of humidity during incubation or from opening the incubator too often or too early.
I didn't suggest float testing that egg! I was telling weaversfarm about the sticky. It's handy reference threads for when you're incubating and hatching eggs

Ok, I took some of the shell off and membrane is dry and white. Should I just get the chick out? I put it back in the incubator and now it's just drying out more even with the wet towel.

Pull some of the membrane back from it's head with tweezers. If it bleeds, wet it a bit and be careful not to put any water on the chick's face. Put it back in the incubator for an hour and remove a bit more later if the chick still needs help. If it's not bleeding you can remove enough so the chick can wriggle free. Leave it in the incubator until it's dry.

I got all of it but its bottom out. It has never really peeped much and doesn't seem very strong. It never wiggles or tried to hatch out. I guess it is just a sick chick. It's still alive but I'm pretty sure it's dying. Lesson learned....leave them the heck alone!

It is probably exhausted from trying to hatch for so long. What you can do is dribble a little bit of sugar water on the side of it's beak and see if that perks it up.

I've helped a lot of chicks hatch and it is possible to help them and save them, if they were meant to live. Some of them just aren't... Most of mine grew up healthy and happy though. So don't beat yourself up, you tried.

Ok, I will try that. He/she isn't even try to get the shell off its just laying there shaking and twitching. I'm trying not to look at it.

He's probably been trying to hatch for almost 3 days.. imagine how you'd feel if you were trying to push your way out of a box for 3 days. You'd be tired too! I agree with trying to dribble a little sugar water into him/her. Save-A-Chick or electrolytes maybe.

I gave it some sugar water. It's just laying there, it doesnt seem any worse i guess:/ I didn't take the shell off from below the wings...should I?
