How's it going? I'm in a similar situation except I got some fertile eggs on line to put under my 3 broody b antams. I'm on day 22 today and if still nothing in 2 days im going to try the floating method. It's my first time, so really anxious. Last time I got some day old chicks and popped them under my broody. I wish I'd done the same this time!I'm very nervous to go out their and candle but still haven't. No signs of hatchment still

Aww cuteCongrats on the hatch! Back in August, I had 14 eggs set under a broody, on day 21, one egg pipped, unzipped, and hatched. That was it? No. Four days later, on day 25 two more hatched, by that point the broody had had enough. She left the last six eggs hatching in the nest. Because I have no incubator, I bought the eggs inside, and put a hot water bottle under the nest material. Four of the six eggs hatched(they are now my 6 year old sister's chickens, Pickle,Olive(the most friendly, wonderful little EE),Shark and Midnight)
