Yeah we started with 6 though.

4 out of 6 is a great hatch rate.

My Broody's have not managed a rate that great yet, however im all set up for the next one... We're gonna smash it next time!! Lol, perhaps 'smash' is not quite the right term to use when talking about eggs!!

Seriously how many people have to advise against this before people get some sense?

People read about it and think it is cool but do not seem to see the horror stories about it.
