I never saw mine move, either in the egg, or the egg itself. And I never heard a word from them until they pipped. I kept watching, but NOOOOO. A watched chick never hatches. So I go to the store, I get a pip. 9 hours later I finally give up and go to bed...I get a chick.

Relax and have a drink, (coke or rum& coke-your choice) or go for a LOOOONG walk. And I mean really long.

Hope it all hatches out OK !!!!!

My last hatch, the eggs were chirping away like mad well before any of them pipped.
And once they started, they were rocking and rolling around the incubator like mad.

Then again, none of that happened till day 22/23 so I guess I might have a day or so to go yet...

Aaaaargh, the wait is just about KILLING me!

Last time mine ran past the 21 days I read somewhere that cheeping at the eggs can get them moving. So I felt a bit stupid trying it but there I was standing with my face right up at the incubator door going "Peep peep PEEP PEEP!!!" And then my boyfriend walked in and caught me at it. LOL! Too funny.

I'm on day 20 and just about to go insane with everyone else having pips and hatches. I've had NOTHING so far. HOPEFULLY tomorrow I will have something going on or I may be cheeping at the eggs myself!!!

It's day 22 today and I have been chirping and whistling and singing and hollering at the babies since yesterday. We heard a chirp last night and again today about an hour ago but NOTHING yet. I thought for SURE this morning I would wake up to babies, I even had a dream about it, but nooooooo. They are frustrating little buggers.

I have been hearing imaginary pips since early this morning. The house has been dead quiet while I wait for the babies to make some noises. They are torturing me!

I have the same experience now.
My eggs were due yesterday (21 day), and only 1 hatched yesterday night, and then 3 more hatched this morning.
It is very weird, 19 eggs were all local eggs, I picked them up when they were fresh... All 19 were growing up well until lockdown.
I never opened bator, humidity and temp. are rock solid.
It is very different than last time. all 19 chicks were hatched by day 21 last time. This time, it seems like takes longer than usual.
Now I am curious how many more days it will take to hatch...
