Day 21 and the hatch is over!! PICTURES ADDED Tuesday

Well, hatch went much better this time. Out of 12 eggs I set on Day 18, I have 9 chicks. All but 1 of them hatched on Day 20. I guess 75% isn't awful, but I'd like to get closer to 90%. None of these were shipped eggs either. I have, 6 Houdans, 2 BRs and 1 Blue Orp. The ones that didnt hatch:

1 pipped and had "foamy stuff" coming out of the pipped hole
1 pipped, saw him working at it for a while, then just kinda gave up and died in the shell
1 pipped and never went any further

Pix later today....having major computer issues right now. Screen works sometimes. doesn't other times....uggghhhh.

OK....here are pix of the new babies. 6 mottled houdans, 2 barred rocks and 1 blue orp

The BRs and the Blue Orp are going to a friend of mine tonight. He loves my blue Rocks...so he will be surprised with the Blue Orp...DW is not happy that we are not keeping them...

my pink bator i built

is big enough for 5 racks all i would need to do is build a hatcher

guess i need some more foam
